Exhibitions Jul 15, 2010 No Comments

Jonny Niesche is opening his show at MOP on July 29th. Mr Niesche is offering Art Life readers a chance to win an ORIGINAL ART WORK Galdr of Freyja, a sumptuous glitter and acrylic on board painting that’ll be yours to keep and treasure for years to come! How do you get in on this once-in-a-lifetime offer? Read on as Mr Niesche explains:

We invite you to participate in a mini collaborative essay competition to accompany Jonny Niesche’s exhibition “The Glitter Stick” at MOP Projects, 2/39 Abercrombie St, Chippendale (opening 6 -8pm Thursday July 29 and open Thursday – Saturday 1 – 6 pm and Sunday – Monday 1 – 5 pm until Sunday August 15). In lieu of a catalogue essay, fellow artist and writer Sean Lowry has written part of a text about the exhibition and left plenty of room for YOU to fill in the blanks! The competition will be judged on August 15 by Ron and George Adams and the winner gets to take home Niesche’s Galdr of Freyja, 2010 (a fabulous 60cm x 70cm, resin, glitter and acrylic on board painting).

The winning essay will be published here on The Art Life. The competition is super-easy. All you need to do is fill in the blanks…
