From the one Image of 'Rachel', this looks like a truly fascinating exhibition. The tattoo on her thigh sets up a dialogue that can not be easily forgotten, but disturbingly, 'Rachel' has the fixed gaze of a shop dummy.
Although very different from their classic "industrial" work of c. 80-86, this shows their fierce originality and fits in perfectly with the strangeness and range of the Tabula Rasa album.
A great great band, as far as I know (I haven't heard anything after 2000's "Silence is Sexy.")

Apropos foreign exchange, perhaps it might be worth someone's while to look into the cosy politics of that nice Aboriginal-art-loving Chinese billionaire's outright purchase of the entire Waringarri Aboriginal Arts exhibition in Shanghai:

Shouldn't think there'll be much left of 'Our Living Land' by the time the Chinese capitalist (now residing in Australia) follows this little sweetener with his company's Ord River water plot, in process of tender with WA govt...

Still it seems just about everyone can get pretty excited about Chinese money.

So what does it mean for those artists that don't even make it to the Salon? Poor bastards.

Is it just a case of who knows whose work and a lack of wall space?

Or is it crap or before its time- cutting edge?

Just another conundrum Andrew?

Here's just four more questions.
