Roger Foley-Fogg (b 1942), WE ARE ALL ISLANDS after Martin Sharp. 360cm x 100cm, blue, white and green LEDs, electronics, mild steel frame.

“This work is based on a rough sketch, a casual doodle, discarded at The Yellow House by artist Martin Sharp in 1971 and found by me when putting out the rubbish. I kept it and much later , about 40 years later, took it around to his home where he was very pleased to see it again and agreed that I should use they image in a Light or Lumino Kinetic Sculpture. I am building the sculpture at my studio in The Blue Mountains” – Roger Foley-Fogg.
