Firstdraft’s 25th anniversary fundraiser

Firstdraft was established in 1986 as a non-profit, artist managed organisation. This year Firstdraft turns 25 and continues to evolve as an artist run initiative supporting Australia’s emerging and experimental artists, curators and writers. ?To celebrate the longevity of this significant ARI, Firstdraft will be auctioning off works by some of Australia’s most desirable emerging and established artists.
The exhibition will feature works by Ben Quilty, Nell, Joan Ross, Del Kathryn Barton, Lionel Bawden, Brown Council, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Sean Cordeiro and Claire Healy, Tim Gregory, Oliver Watts, The Kingpins, Kylie Banyard, Yasmin Smith, Ella Barclay, Chris Hanrahan, Paul Willliams, Seth Birchall, Leo Coyte, Baden Pailthorpe, Max Creasy, Dara Gill, Sarah Contos, Justin Shoulder, Penelope Benton, Troy Emery, Charles Dennington, Kate Scardifield, Stella Rosa-McDonald, and JD Reforma. Also including Agatha Gothe-Snape’s limited edition print in collaboration with Big Fag Press.
Firstdraft’s 25th anniversary fundraiser will be hosted by Nick Coyle and Charlie Garber of Pig Island and the auction’s proceedings will be conducted by Ronan Sulich from Christie’s Fine Art Auctions.?Please join us at the gallery on Wednesday 14th September 2011 from 6pm
