The 19th International Symposium on Electronic Art will be held in Sydney from June 70 to 16, 2013. With less than a year to go ANAT have announced the departure of inaugural director Marcus Westbury and the appointment of Jonathan Parsons. Vicki Sowry acting CEO of ANAT writes:
ANAT is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonathan Parsons as Director of ISEA2013. Jonathan will be joining the ISEA2013 team from mid-September to build upon the work of inaugural Director, Marcus Westbury, who will continue as a member of the Curatorial Committee.
Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in festival directorship and management across the arts and cultural industries in Australia and the UK. He will work alongside Marcus over the next few weeks to get up to speed on all of the exciting projects in development and will join Ross Harley, Kathy Cleland and myself at ISEA2012 Albuquerque later this month.
If you are heading to ISEA2012, you’ll have a chance to catch up with the ISEA2013 team at our presentation at the ISEA General Meeting being held at the Albuquerque Museum (Special Events Rooms) from 11am-1pm, Thursday, 20th September 2012. Alternatively, we will be hosting a meet and greet at QBar, Hotel Albuquerque (at Old Town) from 7pm on Thursday, 20th September 2012.
