Joseph Breikers: Acoustic and Luminous Effects

Joseph Breikers (b. 1983) completed a Bachelor of Fine Art with Honours in 2006 at Queensland University
of Technology, and is currently working towards a Masters in Fine Art (by Research) also at Queensland
University of Technology. He is an artist, arts writer and founding member of Boxcopy Contemporary Art
Space. Joseph has exhibited nationally and currently lives and works in Brisbane.
Amanda Rowell is a freelance writer and curator and is Gallery Manager at Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery, Sydney.
