Artist and long-time Art Life contributor John Kelly went to Antarctica as a recipient of an Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) Arts Fellowship in 2013. He spent three months on the ice where he produced over 50 paintings, several sketchbooks and 5 essays for The Guardian blog. The paintings he produced en plein air in the Antarctic will be exhibited at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery from June to September 2015 and to coincide with the show Kelly is starting a Pozible campaign to raise funds to publish a book. Contribute, support the project and get a copy of the book – and they only need another $3,000 to make it happen. Click here to donate: John Kelly: Beyond Woop Woop.
