Anita Hochman is known for her atmospheric landscape abstractions exploring memory, transience and the ephemeral nature of vision and illusion. Her explorations with oils and acrylics now extend to the realm of new media, with her unique iPad art. She likens drawing on the iPad to the fluid joy of painting with light and sees the touch screen as offering a new palette and set of tools, within an alternate studio and exhibition space. After years of drawing and extensive research into papers, colour and print technologies she has created a new suite of iPad artworks as limited edition archival pigment prints.”
